Kannur police arrested a youth in connection with a chain-snatching incident reported near the city market area. The accused allegedly targeted a woman during evening hours and fled the spot. Based on CCTV footage and local intelligence, police traced and took the suspect into custody. Further investigation is underway to check involvement in similar cases.
